LIGHT STAX - Toy bricks meet LED


LIGHT STAX are LED bricks. Fully compatible with LEGO® and other brands. Light up your play and make your brick world come alive!

What is a house without lights, a car not able to blink or a lighthouse with…well just dark bricks? LIGHT STAX brings LED light into the world of bricks like LEGO® and MEGA BLOKS®. Each brick contains a powerful LED. You can use them to build imaginative light creations and you can also use them to light up your own collection of building blocks. LIGHT STAX comes in a wide range of both solid and transparent colors. They work without wires and have multiple lighting modes, but it can also be used with extension cables. Just imagine the possibilities!

LIGHT STAX is part of the STAX system family and will continue to surprise. The first born was a bigger version of LIGHT STAX (JUNIOR). We created a simple 3d printable plastic case with an opening for the optical heart sensor and two conductive leads so that the board makes contact with the skin. We topped it off with a simple black rubber band that fits all wrist sizes. 
This gives you optimal usage and flexibility with the MetaHealth board and it works right out of the box as a medical/health/fitness band!
With heart rate, galvanic skin response, and 6 axis motion sensors, this is the DREAM platform to build or prototype your product, conduct medical research, learn in the classroom, and more.
The board combines our most requested and complex health and motion sensors into a tiny and affordable package!
MetaHealth connects to a Smartphone, Tablet, Computer (even a RaspberryPi) using Bluetooth and instantly streams health sensor data.
MetaHealth measures: 
Fitness using an optical heart rate sensor (Pulse, BPM, HRV) 
Mood using a galvanic skin response sensor (GSR, Skin conductivity and Sweat)
Motion using inertial MEMs sensors (Acceleration, Force, Angular velocity) 
Temperature using a thermistor
